The Healthy Future of Slovakia initiative is the flagship of the Future Slovakia Forum think tank. Healthcare for us is not just clinical medicine – it's about transparency, public finance, digitalisation, and effective state governance.

Reforms aren't built on election day. They are built months and years beforehand — in data, debates, mentoring, analytical work, and teams that turn ideas into actionable proposals.

Why Now

Opportunities to push reforms come unexpectedly.

When they open, the country cannot start from scratch. It needs ready reform proposals, data, budget frameworks, implementation steps, and people who can carry them into practice.

A reform opportunity opens fast. Analytical capacity cannot be built overnight.
Funding Packages

You finance concrete readiness, not abstract operations.

Supporting FSF means funding people, time, data, mentoring, quality control, and public explanation. In other words: the capacity without which reforms remain only ideas.

Junior Analyst — a month of work in a research team

Funds one monthly analytical slot for a student in an FSF research team. The output is a literature review, a data brief, an analytical note, or a section of a policy brief produced under a mentor. The amount covers the junior's analytical work, mentoring, QA, and coordination of the output.

Policy Brief — one quality publication

Covers the full preparation of one quality policy brief: research, junior analyst time, senior expert mentoring, editing, fact-checking, visual treatment, and publication ready for decision-makers.

€5,000 – €10,000

Expert Roundtable or Reform Package

Enables preparation and hosting of an expert meeting, processing the outputs, publishing recommendations, and communicating them to both expert and broader public audiences.

Strategic Capacity Partner

A contribution to the bridge fund that sustains analytical, fundraising, and coordination capacity during the period when large institutional grants are being evaluated and contracted. The current bridge fund target for 2026 is €20,000.

Fundraising Intelligence Junior (back-office)

Covers a junior position (4 hours / week for 12 months). Role: monitor grant calls, read programme documentation, and prepare decision briefs for FSF leadership. (Approx. CZK 52,000 in a Czech student context.)

Social Media Junior — reform communications

Covers a junior position (5 hours / week for 12 months). Role: translate a policy brief, data chart, or expert output into an understandable visual or explainer without distorting the original meaning. (Approx. CZK 65,000.)

From Discussions to Research Teams

Analytical phase from Autumn 2026.

In recent months FSF has been building community in Prague, Brno, and Olomouc. From summer 2026 we enter the pilot analytical phase.

July – September 2026

We test the collaboration, working culture, ability to work with primary sources, and delivery of outputs on time.

By July 15, 2026

Students choose one reform vertical and submit a short analytical vision.

From October 1, 2026

Students who demonstrate quality and discipline can receive a paid analytical position in one of the FSF research teams.

Your support builds infrastructure, not political influence.

FSF is a non-partisan, independent, evidence-based think tank. In private partnerships we strictly separate support for the organisation from influence over content. A donor does not have the right to determine expert conclusions.

Every partnership goes through conflict-of-interest screening and a reputational review. For larger private partnerships we respect internal source-diversification rules (private sponsorship is capped at 25 % of the total budget).

Frequently asked questions

Is FSF a political organization?

No. FSF is a non-partisan, independent, evidence-based think tank. Partnership with us does not mean support for any political party.

Can a corporate partner influence the content of a policy brief?

No. A corporate partner or foundation can support capacity building or a specific topic that aligns with the FSF mission, but can never intervene in expert conclusions, data, or methodology.

Can I support just one specific area?

Yes. A partner can support a specific area or type of capacity — for example analytical talent, a policy brief, or the bridge fund. They cannot, however, determine expert conclusions, methodology, or the content of the output itself.

Will our company receive a contract and a receipt?

Of course. For corporate partnerships we conclude a standard donation agreement (or a collaboration agreement depending on the form of support) that meets all accounting and legal requirements.

Do you publish the names of donors?

Depending on the agreement, type of support, and legal obligations. For corporate and foundation partnerships we prefer transparent communication, while respecting reasonable confidentiality rules where justified.
